Christian Smith

Christian Smith, Project Coordinator, has over five years of experience working across multiple sectors of public health, including housing, Head Start, and food insecurity initiatives throughout the Lehigh Valley metropolitan area. During this time, he has led high-performing teams and managed impactful projects focused on improving access to essential community services. Christian developed systems and processes to ensure housing and food insecurity resources were delivered efficiently and effectively to individuals and families in need, while also fostering strong partnerships with community agencies to support a holistic, client-centered approach to care and service delivery.

He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Master of Public Health (MPH) from East Stroudsburg University (ESU) and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Health Sciences (DHSc.) at ESU, where his research focuses on the long-term effects of food insecurity on the mental health outcomes of young adults.

Outside of his professional and academic work, Christian enjoys weight training, running, and spending quality time with friends and family.
